Dr. Kris R. Nielsen Lecture Series – April 21, 2016

  • The Dr. Kris R. Nielsen Lecture Series in Innovation and Entrepreneurship is designed to publicly acknowledge the role of innovation in science and engineering and how it interacts with management to create entrepreneurial ventures that foster social benefits. The Nielsen Lecture Series is the result of the partnership between the Patricia Galloway and Kris Nielsen Foundation (located in Cle Elum, WA) and the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I4IE) at Central Washington University (CWU). The Nielsen Lecture series supports the educational mission of the I4IE and contributes to promoting regional economic development.

This years featured speaker will be Adriane Brown, The President and Chief Operating Officer of Intellectual Ventures┬« (IV). Brown will share three key principles- people, mindset, and investment- to Finding Eureka! The Journey to Innovation. She is recognized for her leadership and business acumen – the cornerstones for the strong and growing IV global performance – mentoring emerging talent, from all walks of life, and developing future leaders.
